Today I am moving again, from my two bedroom to a one bedroom one floor below me. That will be the last one in Rio until I go home for the summer. . I haven’t traveled too much lately, and I haven’t been doing much new stuff either which is exactly what I needed after like 10 years of traveling and constantly learning something, working on something and meeting new people, doing new stuff. . Sure, that’s an important part of who I am, the super social extrovert, it’s just now I know after some months of burnout and some more of recovery that I need to slow down just a bit and make some time for myself. So no wonder living alone the first time of my life is the most awesome thing ever!! . I have been enjoying my nights in, Netfix, figuring my things out slowly. But I started to slowly go back to normal too. My balance is a balance when I get my new impressions and new people dose too. So this week I went to a party organised by Airbnb for the experience hosts in Rio. . First of all I got a prize, the beat new host in Rio. Feels awesome! I also met awesome people, one of them took me to climb the Sugarloaf mountain with him this week which was an epic and new experience. I think I found a new hobby (now I only need some cash, it is not the cheapest hobby). I also met another guy who took me yesterday to his sailing boat experience which was fantastic too, moreover we might be able to collaborate in the future (I can take photos at his tours). So exciting! . I also joined a gym this week, because they have FUNK CLASSES!!! So I am learning my beloved Brazilian moves from a professional nowadays. . There are many reasons why some days of storms can be actually nice. First of all you get to see amazing things like the iconic Christ statue covered in clouds. Also it means that finally after boiling your brain in 40 degrees for some weeks you can have some fresh air. I enjoyed having 20-25 degrees for some days, I have to admit. Finally some sweat-less nice sleep! Now the boiling break is over, its again 30 something Celcius in Rio. And Christ is watching again. Looking back on my feed I realized how few photos I posted in 2018. I could try to find some excuses but I guess I was just lazy, nothing to explain. So I will recycle some photos of last year as I have to admit I am again lazy, but this time not to post but to do anything else but watching Netflix, reading and chilling in my pijamas. And that makes quite boring content. I feel that the South American culture is way closer to my heart than the Asian. There it never feels like home, more like at holiday which is also great. I keep going back to Korea anyway. I do not feel super connected because I think I’m just not cute and girly enough to fit in perfectly. And well, I’m much taller and bigger than anyone else in the country which makes me feel weird and not normal. For example I was wearing the very biggest size uniform during the #PyeongChang Winter Games. For this reason I always know I won’t stay for very long, this time I was glad to go home after a month. But still, I always have such a nice time there. I met so many amazing friends there, I love all of their food, the country has some nice spots to visit and I can spend hours in the stationary stores to shop notebooks and pens, stickers and all these super cute stuff.
